Building on the phenomenal success of TELETOON Retro, TELETOON Canada inc. will launch a French language version of the classic cartoon channel this September. Astral Media TVPlus, the rep house, is ready to make sales proposals.
Bugs & Tweety, Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo, The Jetsons and The Raccoons come back to Quebec TV screens as Vidéotron illico Digital TV launches TELETOON Retro in English and French on September 4.
On channel 159, the English language TELETOON Retro unveils a nostalgic show line-up including The Smurfs, The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show, The Flintstones and Fraggle Rock. For French language subscribers, on channel 97, TÉLÉTOON Rétro is set to deliver vintage cartoons specific for the Quebec market such as Rémi sans famille as well as favourites beloved by audiences across Canada including Les amis Ratons (The Raccoons) and Tom et Jerry (The Tom & Jerry Show). Vidéotron illico Digital TV customers will automatically receive TELETOON Retro in the language of their TELETOON subscription. The full schedule for each channel is available on teletoon.com.
The French language TÉLÉTOON Rétro is currently available exclusively on Vidéotron illico Digital TV (Ch. 97). TELETOON Retro English is available in Quebec on Vidéotron illico Digital TV (Ch. 159), Bell TV (Ch. 599) and Star Choice (Ch. 536). Customers should contact their local television provider for more
